Finished my sump

Well I finally finished my sump for my 40breeder. It's a glass 29 gallon with HD acrylic baffles. The main dividers are 1/4" and the three baffles are 1/8". The baffles are spaces 2" apart and are 12" tall. The only thing I haven't decided is whether I will run the return pump externally or submersed.

Great job! It seems you were very careful with the measurements on the skimmer side, it's a pretty tight fit in there But now you have much more space on the return pump side.

That's the exact same setup I want to do for my sump... Except I'm going to use the 40 breeder for the sump

It is a tight fit, but not that tight. I have about an inch and a half of play. I used my router to cut the acrylic. The slots for the fuge were cut by drilling 1/4" holes right next to each other and then I used my dremel to cut the left over material in the slots.

dedfish how are you getting the flow in and out of the fuge area? i am new to diy and am just curious. btw it looks very nice.
