flame angel food

bought a flame angel, The LFS said forumla 2 would be best, I'm already feeding forumla 1 to the clown and tang, They were out of 2 so I bought some frozen brine shrimp. I do see the fish eating, but he still looks hungry after 2 feeding, How many times should I be feeding him, and is their something else he should be eating, besides the form. 2

When I had a bicolor angel (similar dwarf angel) it didn't like formula 2 very much.
I found that it much more readily gorged on shreds of raw table shrimp, little scallop pieces, and would nibble on the nori I put in my tank for the tang.

I use to use angel formula also...contained sponge and meaty type foods for the angels

There is a frozen pygmy angel formula, but my golden prefers, squid, shrimp, and pellets.

Oh yeah, another note...
I used to take a leaf of Romaine lettuce, rinse it well, microwave for 10 seconds, allow to cool, then put it in the tank for the tang. The bicolor angel used to take bites out of the lettuce too. I guess they like Romaine lettuce.

I feed mine mysis shrimp and it seem to love it.
My mandarine also eat mysis shrimp.

Isn't it the large angels, not centropyge species, that eat sponges?
