Found a bunch of spots all over my frag tank today. They dont look like bugs but I could be wrong.

No Acro in the tank
No new corals in the tank.

Only changes
Dosing vodka to get nitrates down since they were up and I am trying to get rid of hair algea
Added cleanup crew (Snails, Crabs, urchins) to help keep up with hair algea.
More frequent water changes to try and drop nitrates

I went through an algea battle a while back but felt I was past that.
Just trying to figure out if I need to do anything or am I deal with another type of algea or bacteria because im dosing to drop the nitrates.

I did have a rock with some red sponge in the tank which I removed, I have a few places that still have the red sponge that I was removing but this does not seem like that.

Might try to keep lights off for a few days to see what happens.

Thanks

Is there any chance they can come in on snails or crabs. Only other thing is I put some chaeto in that i bought from reef cleaners.

Unless they were there and I only noticed because of the explosion of them now

Probably could have come in on any of those. Options people use are flatworm exit or certain wrasses like yellow coris.

It is most likely from chaeto, unlikely from snails and crabs.
Use Salifert flatworms exit will clear them out then add a wrasse to keep them in check.

Yea just added a 6 line wrasse. Will do the flat worm exit treatment too probably.
