Freeze 2 part solutions?

The colder a liquid is, the less salt (ca cl) can be dissolved in it. It's possible that freezing your two part will cause it to precipitate out of solution while freezing. At which point nothing is added to the tank.
How big a tank are you guys talking about? An ice cube of up to 8 ounces would probably melt in less than 2 minutes in my tank. That is not a very slow rate of dosing, regardless of my above post. If you want a slow dosing, I recommend you find a way to drip the 2 part into you tank. That said. I've never had a problem dumping in the daily dose of 2 part when I was actually adding 2 part.
