Green Pincushion Urchin and Coralline Algae

I was doing a water change today, and was noticing that one of the few places where coralline is growing in my tank is in the corners where my urchin can't fit. I remember reading that urchins can eat coralline, so I spent a few minutes google surfing before deciding to ask you guys about it.

The tank (30 gal) has been running since the end of September, but it was up and running for a year before I bought it, so I think it would be past the "too soon for coralline" stage, and like I said, there are spots of it growing in the corners. The urchin is a green pincushion, slightly larger than a quarter. Calcium was in the low 400s last time I checked.

So the question is, does anyone have experience with a pincushion of some variety doing a number on coralline, and if so, did removing him have an impact?

Well My tank was cleaned and put in the new location about 2 mos ago and already tons of coraline growin on glass and rocks . I would say the Urchin did a number
