Hair algae

I had the tank for almost a year now
Everything is going great except the hair algae I been Battle it seen day one
To all the experience Reefer out there
WHAT IS THE BEST AND MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO GET RID OF THEM ONCE AND FOR ALL? please help me out thank you...

Nutrient control. Lots of water changes and trying to manually remove as much every water change... You could also try turbo snails too they're "supposed" to eat hair algae...

Also if you have the ability to set up a turf algae scrubber in your sump that's a good way to help. I used that to help with I had my reef ready tank set up years ago to help with hair algae.

How is the tank set up, what is your maintainance, what is the live stock (fish and clean up crew) and what is your source water.
 
RODI water, 2 turbo snails 5 hermit crabs, 1 slug, one lawnmower benny

2 tangs 1 fox face, 2 clouds, 1 trigger 1 puffer 1 fresh water Molly
