Help! Algae problems!

I have corals in my Red Sea max 250 but having the light is causing tons of algae to grow! I need some tips and info on how to keep this from happening!

Why do you think it's the light? Algae outbreaks are usually caused by excess nutrients, from feeding too much, or not doing water changes. Tell us a little more about your system. What do you have for livestock and what's your feeding/cleaning routines

Yes I know lee but I'm suspecting that's not the only issue.

This ^^^ the sun hits my ATO water for at least 4 hours/day and I have 0 algae in there (I use a 10 gal fish tank for ato).

Do you have snails?
What kind of water are you using?
How much are you feeding?
How old is the tank?
