Hitchhiker on coral

Reef Rookie Forever
I noticed this in my new GSP coral that I got about 1 month ago. When the GSP is open during the day, it is impossible to see this hitchhiker. I noticed this at night and took a flash picture to show this. The anemone moves back and forth thru the GSP rock island and does not appear to cause the GSP to close up from stinging it. I unfortunately think this is either a majano or aiptasia species. It has purple-like tenticles and the tips are green and pointed.

Attached is picture.

Thoughts?

Why isn't GSP closing up from being stung during day if it is a bad anemone? (all the GSP opens up and disguises the anemone) Coral.jpg

Time to buy some treatment to destroy the anemone like Joe's juice, Kalk paste, Aiptasia-X?

Thank you.

To me it actually looks more like a nudi from the photo.

I would snatch tat thing up and kill it. Ask questions later.

But I tend to be heavy handed around my tank. Others may argue that it has feelings too and shouldn't be harmed.

Judging by the picture I would say your assumption of a majano or aiptasia would be correct.
