This red planet grow on XXL plate from 11/21 and 12/13.

Optically, do you think the growth rate slow or normal?
Thx !!!

maybe 1 to 3 inches a year if the coral is established in the system.

Looks like that red planet is establishing itself. Some slight encrusting on sides which is good. The tips on the top of the frag are dormant. You will know it's established when you start to see new tips come out of it.

Acro growth rate can vary dramatically. From 1 inch per year to 12 inch per year.
The fastest growing stag horn acro can get more than 12 inch growth per branch per year in the ocean.

Thanks guys. While my growth is acceptable, color arnt that great.

I have to keep dosing nitrate, redsea energy plus amino acid to keep nate/phate from completely depleted.

I'm pretty sure my green slimer can grow close to 1/2-1"/month. It grows regularly to the water surface.

Have you tried adding more fish?
I have 5 anthias, 3 wrasses, 2 clowns, 2 tangs, 1 filefish in this reefer 625 which is about 130g in Dtank. I thought that is already a lot of fishes for this tank size.

Another month past and this is from 01/14/20
