How's your goldflake?

Several of our peeps bought goldflake angels last Spring.
I'm wondering about how readily they adapt to prepared foods, if they nip at any corals, clams, or inverts, how long you've had the fish, and if the colors have faded at all.

Mine is dying. Stopped eating about 4 weeks ago. Got it from Marine Center. No reason I can think of that it stopped eating.

I saw a large one at House of Fins for $500 a week ago.

Well, mine wasn't quite THAT much, but it was expensive!

At first, mine did not eat (for around 2 months). I think she was eating pods and/or algae since she actually gained size during this period. Then all of a sudden she started fiercly fighting for food....and is doing great ! Thanks Marvin for getting me a beautiful fish. This fish is one of my favorites !

An experience LFS owner mentioned to me that due to the way this fish is collected (deeps for the large ones) you only want to purchase small fish.
