I see some possible fungus looking thing covering a couple of my zoa polyps. I haven't added any corals recently. Is this going wipe out that entire colony? I can't get the rock out that they are attached to. I assume there's nothing I can do but wait. I'll post a pic later.

I had some run it's course on one of my zoo colonies. it started at the base, and grew up and over the polyps. It was a black fungus. It wiped out maybe 5-6 polyps and then went away. --- Hoping it doesn't come back, but it has been a couple of months with no sign of anything

hmm, now that the colony has opened up from the lights being on, you cant see it at all. maybe it was just a lil bit of sponge or something... I'll keep my eye on it. Nothing was black and all of the polyps are open now. Perhaps I overracted.

I'm just waiting for my tank to be healthy again. Damn parasites. Oddly enough, my SPS are growing like weeds, haha.
