Is there copper in a razor blade?

~Flighty~

Now with more baby
Dropped one way behind the rocks and it won't be easy to get. I thought I remembered someone figuring out that they pose no hazard to the tank as they rust and maybe add beneficial iron, but wanted to double check. I know I can go fishing with a magnet, but it still will be a trick to get out.

Hopefully it's upside down and can't cut anything. Maybe you could tie a small magnet to a fish string and pull it out that way?

I would try to get it out. what happens next year when you forget about it, and clean back there, OUCH! Just a thought.

In answer to your question any copper would be so small as to never be a problem, don't worry about it.

Thanks Jim, that's what I thought.

LOL, a razor blade will rust away in about two days, maybe a week in a reef tank.

Do you think the black tip reef shark will be a problem though? I assumed reef safe since it had "reef" in the name....
