Lifegard Aquatics Single Heater Module with heater AF-92 $25 (Boston). This heater module is designed to be used in line with your tanks' water circulation plumbing. This provides the most stable temperature possible by recirculating aquarium water continuously around the heater element and removes the unsightly and easily damaged heater from the aquarium. The PVC piping seen in the photos was added to accommodate my particular setup, but it can be removed to suit your needs. The module with heater and minus the PVC piping/adapters measures 16 1/4" tall by 7.5" wide by 4" deep. This setup was used to heat a 120-gallon mixed reef aquarium.
