I'm sorry to tell you this, but you're chances of finding an Elos quality tank without the Elos price is pretty slim. Unless of course you can pick up a used one fr short money.

doesn't ADA (ADG?) or a company with a name like that make tanks that are similiar style to elos tanks for a more affordable price? The reason elos is expensive (besides their quality) is because they are all imported right? Heres a link http://www.adgshop.com/, don't know how these prices compare to elos tanks...just remember reading that they were more affordable than the elos setups somewhere when i was looking into it....
suggestion might also be to look into getting it built for you instead of buying it built already...

Will AGA/ADG make large tanks? Are the tanks shipped from Japan? If so, that won't be cheap either.
