mantis are pretty skidish (spelling?) so you should try to see if you can get him comfortable by feeding him so he doesnt rid you of all shrimp and cleaning crew. once you have a food you know draws him to feed then use the trap i would also try the trap after light out but keep a close eye on it. if you trap him and he gets out he most likely wont fall for it again. and you need to know where he is living and put the trap right infornt of his cave.
but if you get him feeding good enough you may even net him
