Marco E-400 cement

Has anyone ever used plain old RODI (or even tap for that matter when aquascaping with Marco E-400? I'm outta the solution which orig came with the kit but I still have plenty of the mortar?

After all, I believe it's just hydraulic cement.

I recall it having a smell similar to/if not exactly like ammonia when mixed with the mortar. Not super strong but not "tame" either. Thanks Pauls will check it out.

I also agree on the hydraulic cement comment as well. Might just EHfff it and give it s shot! See what happens. Will report back LOL.
