Its been about 8-9 mths and the tank is settled in nicely. Corals and fish are all doing well. I cant wait for another 6 mths when everything is turning into colonies. Its funny how some things take off and while others are stagnant. Thanks for looking!

I had posted a video and pics of my NSA rockwork back 9 mths ago. I had to redo a few arches during creation but its not hard...just time consuming. I appreciate the comment about the rockwork bc I really like the open-ness of the space and the corals growing up to water surface will be awesome to see next year. I dont want to over crowd with corals (thats the hardest part).

Awesome I’ll definitely check it out thank you. That’s exactly what I’d like to aim for open-ness with lots of places to mount corals, but still leaving lots of space on the sand bed. Nothing beats a good mixed reef in my eyes keep it up the good work!

100%...that is the hardest part!

Thanks again all. Im going to try and capture some new tanks pictures soon. I had a few top downs but Ill get the camera out (maybe) for some tank shots. Funny looking back and seeing a few things I lost from my summer meltdown but then seeing the growth on some corals from a year ago.

A full tank shot for posterity
Ive added a new skimmer online and the red sea ato+ as equipment upgrades over the last year. Upgraded my water change station which is god sent.

Some corals have grown faster than others. I have to toss out monti cap every couple months. I did have a RTN event from my cat getting into my top off while away last summer but saved mostly everything except for a few nice sps frags. The issue cause many of my sps to need to be cut back a lot but I was able to save at least frags. Ive replaced those lost with new nice sps frags. Hope you enjoy!
