needle valve for reactor

I have been using needle valves like this compact plastic needle valve for my calcium reactor, but after awhile they start to get clogged.

Has anyone found a better needle valve? These are kind of pricey too.

I use clippard needle values for my planted tank co2 applications. Not sure if the application applies.

Are you using that on your CO2 line or the return and vent? For the CO2 I use this, http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_viewi...ntent=CO3151&gclid=CLHRodWipbQCFdKd4AodiRMAVw and for the return and vent I just use the ball valves that lowes sells, theyre cheap too

I just use the john guest 1/4in fitting, ball valve type.

Yes this for the return, not the CO2. My tank regulator has a built in valve for the CO2 which works great. I will check lowes. Thanks.
