I heard a rumor that the main display at the NEA is closed down and it's not worth the trip into Boston. Does anyone know if that's true

They did do a renovation, but that finished 5 years ago. The live webcam shows a active tank. Nothing on the website that says otherwise.

I was just there on Saturday. The main tank was not down, HOWEVER, I noticed a lot of missing fish. They used to have a well stocked tang tank, I didnt see much. And the sharks and stingrays are all missing due to parasite risk

The foot traffic kills a lot of the fun times. Place is always crazy busy.

Go at opening or after 3-4. Avoid the largest crowds. I get in free as a teacher and my wife is a member so we go several times a year with our son. He just likes the run down the ramp mostly...
