Odd Behavior?

So I got a new whitetail bristle tooth tang yesterday and since putting it in the tank it’s been trying to fight its reflection. It’s been about five years since I’ve added a tang and I’ve never had this issue before. There’s no mirror, it’s just the reflection of the glass (thanks waterbox ;-)). Anyone experience this before, will it just pass?

I thought I could post a video of the behavior, but I guess no videos? Here’s a photo

My bristle tooth did the same thing. Mine is still skittish even after being in the tank almost 2 years.

Let the glass grow some algae film on it and see if that levels him out

Most of my fish did that for at least the first couple days.
