One 20k more blue than the other

I have the Aquamedic light fixture w/3x250 de 10k and 2x150 de 20k. One 20k is more blue than the other. Any one have an idea why? Does it need to "burn in"? Is the bulb bad?

how old are the bulbs? how old is the fixture? Maybe check the wires to make sure ground and other wires are not loose.

The fixture is brand new as well as the bulbs. I also tried turning them 1/2 way.......

is it the bulb or ballast?
try swapping the bulbs.
did you get it local or online?

That's a really nice fixture, where did you get it?
If it's all brand new, I would say it's probably just in need of some burn time. But swap the bulbs around and see if it's a ballast.

Thanks, I'll try swapping the bulbs before the lights go on today when I get home.......

I just switched the bulbs from one socket to the other. The same bulb is still more blue than the other......

Let it burn in. Should be fine, unless someone colored the glass tube with a Sharpie.

you should be able to take the bulbs back to where you got the light from and ask them to swap them out or send them back to aquamedic.
