Perfect dosing containers

At TJ Maxx Homegoods, they have those square glass containers with dimensions like 5" x 5" x 12" or 16" Height.
It contains about 1.3 gallons of water. Quite cheap as well around 12 dollars. You can cut a piece of acrylic and make a cap for it.

I get these at Dollar Tree.

They hold a gallon, and are 5" wide and 10" tall. The 4" mouth makes it really easy to add calcium or what ever you need to put in there.
They are marked in 2 cup intervals and semi-transparent to see what's left. They even have a handle to help carry.
The only down side I've found is that the lids don't give a perfect seal. Not bad but you can usually expect a few drops from the lids when you are shaking the contents to mix.
