Phosphate removal media recommendations please

I’m currently running rowaphos in my reactor, but I’d like a media to remove phosphate that I do not need to wash and rinse as much as my current stuff.
Any suggestions?

You can try PhosGuard. It’s aluminum oxide rather than ferric oxide, so it’s much bigger and easier to work with. It still needs to be rinsed but it’s not so bad.

Ive read horror stories of people suffocating their fish with it. I’m not against it, but I know there are other ways. Do you personally use Lanthanum?

I use the high density gfo from bulk reef. And sometimes chemipure blue, which has gfo among other things.

I have used Phosphate Rx at half recommended doses with great results.

A bio pellet may work as a cleaner option to GFO though you will need a specialty reactor and it may strip the water too clean for some softies or lps.
