I bought a 7" porcupine puffer and he won't eat . I have tried frozen krill, shrimp and silver sides. Any suggestions? I never had this problem with the small ones . Big ones harder to get to eat? He gets all excited when I feed the tank but he doesn't eat anything.
I would give him a day or so. Make sure the krill is thawed fully, and, in my experience with my puffer, they seem to prefer the larger sized krill. I use freeze dried krill, and he will not go near it if I dip it in selcon.
