Question on Photoperiod

I am leaving my house for 8 days and I need to make some preparations. I want to cut my photoperiod to the minimum time in case of a chiller mishap. My water will heat to 86 degrees without the chiller in the summertime. I have a mixed tank, with every type of coral there is.

So my question is, what is the shortest photoperiod for this amount of days?

I've cut my MH to 3-4 hrs per day for a week when fighting HA, I saw no I'll affects, just like a stormy week on the reef. I did have the actinics on longer.

Yes three-four hours will be fine you could even leave the halides off for a week and leave the actinics on their reg photo-period. (if you have actinics or other suplemental lighting)
