A problem was discovered in the way PayPal transactions are handled with our board, in that members who paid as a one-time subscription rather than based upon a recurring yearly renewal were being assessed an extra $5.00 shipping fee. After researching and discussing the problem, the BOD is taking action to remedy the situation. Moving forward, this charge will be removed. In the meantime, anyone who was charged the $5.00 fee can apply for a refund, or we would be more than happy to extend the expiration date of your membership by four months. Please know that the BRS relies on membership dues to fund such things as meeting venues and speakers, and the day-to-day expenses of running the board, to name a few. We value our members who have thought enough of the club to support the BRS by becoming paid members, and want you to know that this was not meant to defraud anyone – it was simply an oversight between the last administration and the current one. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. Please feel free to PM Muralizt, S Hunter, or any BOD member if you need any additional information. Shawn, just out of curiosity, what if someone just wanted to make a donation of say $5 or $10 during the year, is there a way for them to do so?

The donations can be sent through paypal if you can;t make the regular meetings.
