Reef breeders v2 controller not working

Hey guys has anyone ever had the reefbreeders v2 light not work via the controller?

What is broken or what would I need to do to fix this?

Is the controller charged?

I believe it works via wifi direct or Bluetooth, so the connection can be spotty. It often exhibited long delays for me. I’d double check for interference, other wireless sources.. microwave ovens (not kidding) then try turning the whole unit off, and on again with the remote very very close to the electronic end of the light.

Which type of controller? V2, v2+ or Pro?
Is the light turning on or stays off?
Are you running a Jebao powerhead/return pumps that purchased on eBay or Amazon?

V2 light turns on and stays on whe. Power is plugged in. Controller will not do anything.

On your remote, hit “menu”, then “settings”, then “address ID”, then select “0”, hit ok, then see if the light responds to the remote.
