** Reverse Durso ** - Will it Help

Wanted to ask if the reverse Durso is only helpful in eliminating micro-bubbles when a huge drop is involved (Basement Sump Set ?up?s).

I?m in the process of designing a sump and will have a 1.5 inch drain that will be entering the sump, will having a reverse durso help in eliminating any micro bubbles making it back to the tank.

Also if you have any other suggestions on the design of the sump please chime in.

As you can see below I have a 1.5" pipe that comes down into both tanks, and I have no bubbles in the display tank, and very little bubbles in either sump or fuge. I go 1.5" to a 2" adapter, then into the 3" with the bottom of it cut at an angle. The reason I went to 2" is the pipe on those is sch80 so if I did it to 1.5" sch80 from sch40 it would reduce the flow by a little. I've read on here that people will often put a 5g bucket at the bottom of the pipe to reduce the bubbles, but I didn't need to do that.
