Been working non stop lately but managed to get a couple hours to try and wrap up the stand. Wasted 4 hours calling/driving to different lowes after a particular trim piece got discontinued and sold out within 2 weeks. Moral of the story always buy more then you need because you can always return it . Anways I have a little but of trim/doors/paint, plumbing, and mounting my light. Should be getting my hands wet by the end of the month. Hope everyone had a good Halloween.

Trying to figure out the best way to plumb this thing. I've always had more complicated plumbing with manifolds and stuff so simply just plumbing a straight return and two drains seems strange to me. I do want it clean look but at the same time want to future proof it for additional equipment. Any thoughts? Thanks

Man there’s so much beautiful open space in there. You’d almost want white pipes and wires

I agree just wasn't sure about making it too busy under there. All the wiring is going behind the tank and up to a drywall remote access panel with a tablet display in the front. I think I will do a double manifold though for future stuff if needed

Slow progress is still progress. I'm definitely happy with how this came out as a weekend project kind of guy. This was a combo of pvc trim, poplar and regular 1x. I used pvc near the top for its water resistance. I just got done with the second coat of stix's primer which I highly recommend. Now just two coats of Sherwin Williams advanced cabinet paint and moving on

The apex control center is in-wall? Awesome. I haven't seen that before.
Yeah, I wanted to do some sort of apex control board. I played with some different ideas like mounting a pull draw in a vertical position. I ended up finding this drywall access panel on amazon 14x29 for 30ish dollars. Going to frame out the wall behind with some 1x6 and should be good to go.

How are you going to affix the iPad?

Right now its just mounted with velcro. I'm not sure if I want to do something a little fancier. The only other thing I was thinking of was cutting out a viewing window from door and flush mount the table with the door

I love the flush mount idea!
