solenoid humming

Has anyone had this happen? I turned it off for a few days due to high dkh, but when I turned it back on, it's now making a humming/high pitched rattling sound.

Does it need to be replaced, or is there something I can do to it?

Sounds like it hung up half way open try to tap it with a hammer a few times
