Some assembly required

This is the current state of my tank.
A couple of questions
Are there any issues with joining flexible pvc with
pvc cement?
Can you connect the two drains together with
1 inch pipe T?
Two of the returns are made with PVC joints. Is there
a easy way to stabilize at the top?
I keep trying different combinations. The plumbing
has to fit under the tank. I have been to HD 5 times.

Guess at least $2500-3000
This is why I buy one item at a time and
have waited until I have enough to assembly the tank.
I actually got some very good deals that keep the price low.
I try not to think about the total cost.
It's like any hobby golf, scuba diving, woodworking etc.
I know several people that have spent over 10k on there
woodworking shop. At least I get to see the tanks every
day. I have seen many table saws used a shelves.

I have been researching and reading this forum a lot.
The Ocean motion is very well built and a lot of local
reefers have good things to say about it.
The squirt is a lot smaller than the 4 way, but
does not have as many options. I have tried the squid,
wave makers etc. This looks like a much more reliable solution.
The velocity is very highly recommended.
I had a Ilwaki before. It work well but was to noisy.

Some people here have used regular PVC cement to join flexible PVC, but there is a special cement that's recommended for flexible PVC, that's the one I used to glue spa-flex.

I wouldn't recommend connecting the two drains together, you'd lose the redundancy advantage of having 2 separate drains.

Thanks for the info. After I read your post I did more research on flexible
PVC. There are a lot of people that use regular PVC cement. There are also
reports of it creating brittle connections that are easy to pull apart.
I will wait until I get the right flex pvc cement.
I went with two separate drains. It looks like another trip to HD.

I used regular PVC cement for all my pressurized plumbing. My overflow thorugh the sump and fuge spraybar are connected with no glues at all.
