So I used a staples home connect and their connected power strip to automate my aquarium. If u buy two pieces . I bought power strip for 80 and water sensor for 40 and got the hub for free . Runs everything on my aquarium. From lights to all the pumps . Now if I want to shut off pumps I use my iPhone. U can set up automatic times for lights and pumps and even my sump with water sensor lets me know if water is low . I love it and cost $120. So much cheaper than controller. If only I could find temp probe that is z wave or blue tooth compatible. Thanks brett.

good Idea. I have a controller for my tank, but with the price of electricity I am going to start to look into automating my home with z wave products.

for temp I've been using one wire and zwave modules everywhere. works really well.

What is one wire for temp ? Could u explain . Could I buy this somewhere . I have digital temp but I can't get from that to hub
