Thawed cyclopeez??

I know it says right on the package not to let the stuff thaw but I forgot it in my car over night....

When I retrieved it it was still cool and I put it right in the fridge....

Anyone know if I can get away with useing it?

It seems to stay fresh better than mysis or brine or any of those things, but it is still a meaty food that wil go very bad and kill stuff. You might get away with it with an unopened package. I would go by smell and also call the manufactuer. If your fish don't go nuts trying to eat every drop, I would worry.

It was sealed and still pretty cool... I will give it a try and see what it smells like... should it smell when its fresh?

It smells icky even when it is fresh. It is a fishy smell, but not a dead seaweed smell. Not very strong of a smell.
