Trying out my Nikon D80

I got a Nikon D80. I have no idea how to use it and I don't have a macro lense yet but here are two pics I took. Just like the hobby there is a lot to learn about photography and I know nothing about this camera.

Very nice, I have D7000, I still need to get a macro lens, I have been using a 18-105, and a prime 50mm lens lately. What are you using for lights? I run a 250 Radium only, when I get home I can post my settings that I use if you would like, can help get accurate color. I have them saved as a preset on the camera so I dont have to keep adjusting when the wife uses the camera with the kids. She also despised it as I take the camera off auto focus too so most of her shots are out of focus cause she did not notice it.
