trying to add on to skimmer

ok so i have a reef octopus 1000sss and i get a ton of bubbles in my dt from it so i want to extend the gate valve into chamber 2 only problem is no normal pvc fits i know ppl have added on to these any help ?

It's metric. Adaptors can be had but aren't easy to find. In some cases the rubber repair couplings from HD will work.

i can get pics later but its a proflex model 3 sump with the 1000sss reef octopus skimmer . that makes sense that its metric because 1 1/4 is slightly larger.
