has any who went to meeting in marlboro figured out what spectrum light to use to view corals flouresnce?????

He didn't say the exact wavelength of the filter he used, but from looking at the graphs he presented it was around 420-470nm... anyway, he did say that pretty much any light in that range would cause fluorescence in some corals or others, so it was a matter of experimenting. If you want to see what can be done without any special equipment, take a look at my thread in the Photography forum: http://216.235.242.50/forums/showthread.php?t=6937

try just looking at your tank under actinc with yellow saftey glasses. You don't get the full florescence effect but it looks pretty cool.
