yeah i saw that too, Dave seems like a really knowledgeable guy.

I'm wondering the the samller eheim (1046) is suitable for a 1.5 liter... if so i might have to go that route.

He does.

rkaires (post #3) said that he used a 1048 with his 1.5L Vertex. It took a tad more tinkering, but it works well.
