what does this mean?

i have two tomato clowns i bought from a LFS not paired, one however is larger than the other. the big one took to the toadstool the small one to the sebae. for the past few weeks they have been solitary but now they come out and the larger on bolts over to the little one and just looks at it and the little one just instantly goes on its side and fans the big one. does this mean they are pairing up or something?

Not so much pairing up, but could just be a sign of being submissive.

It is one step forwad toward the right direction. Just give them time.

Agree with dong. You will see it a bunch of times and then they will be inseperable.
