I am setting up a 90 gallon tank with a 55 gallon sump and was looking for advice on a good skimmer.. What should buy??? my tank will be mostly softies.
The options are endless. Do you have any thing specific to narrow it down? Cost, Footprint, low watts? Are you the type would prefer to pay some more for the latest thing, or would something practical and maybe used be an option?
practical... Currently set at 10x11 inch area in sump for it... was hoping that would be large enough... I have lots of corals and just want a good quality skimmer, currently using a remora on my 46 and it works great, but its an hang on the back skimmer
check out the sc-150 skimmers on your favorite auction site. Got mine for $115 shipped and its making some NASTY skimmate from my 40b w/ 35g sump.
Theres an extensive review thread over on RC and the general concensus is they rock.
