\where did my wrase go???

got a wrase today

im aware they jump so i made sure theres no large holes anywhere.
he seemed really well after 10 mins he was swimming all over picking at rocks and etc.

i searched everywhere......
(took apart plumbing, looked in sump and refugium)
(all over the place on the floor if he some how jumped)


i cannot find him anywere.........


are they good hiders??

Nah its hiding in the sand..

Yeah, depending on the wrasse, it's either in the sand or built a cocoon in the rocks.

The last thing you want to do is tear your tank apart looking for a fish. Just stirs up unwanted stuff.

i didnt move sand or rocks, i did clean my pumps (reason for looking in the plumbing.....)

yep, he is in the sand, i would bet a dollar on it.

Keep an eye on him, maybe you can see where he goes to hide so when he disappears you'll know where to look first
