Which 10K 250w double ended bulb to I want?

I'm upgrading my lighting from 150w MH w/14K Phoenix to a 250w MH with 4xt5 actinics.

Water surface to sand bed is 17-18 inches.

I'm keeping an SPS dominate tank with one clam (so far).

You're thinking 12 hours with the light 2 inches above the tank might be a little much?

going from 14k to 10k is a pretty good increase. Like Jay said, acclimate slowly or your corals might hate you for it.

which ballasts are you using btw? you have many options on 10k 250w DE (xm, hamilton, ushio etc..no phoenix).
