whisker coral turning brown

i have one whisker coral with eights heads one of which has turned brown and looks dead any ideas please help ?

Yeah that one head looks like it's gone to me. Any new additions to the tank or have you seen anything on it? Are your parameters stable?

What's your parameters,especially ALK?
The other heads look POed as well.

i added an acan and favia in the last week parameters are all stable phosphate is a little high….. i have a duncan on the other side of tank and he is fine

nothing on it just the heads are all closed and whiskers are bulbous

ill run some more tests today and see if i am missing something

so after testing water…. i found nothing to note… the brown slime actually started to speed up. i tried fragging off heads that were still healthy looking then gave up. hey at least its only a whisker. all other corals are looking great
