Why spring for royal exclusive equipment

So I have been away from hobby for about a year, I kept finding myself looking at tanks and drooling over them . I just got the green light from the boss to build another one as big as I want . Yorgos was witness to this lol. So it's still going to be a while before this all happens but I'm getting a good plan together for a 180 with fish room in basement. Looking at equipment, for pumps either neptune cor or........ not sure skimmer I want to be a recirculating. Bubble king does not make one . So let's here what you all use and why or if you could get something different.

Bubble king is the only skimmer I would use. I don't think anyone who has used BBK and say they wouldn't buy it again.
My advice in this hobby? Buy once. Not more twice.

I spent over $1500 last year in search of the perfect skimmer, none were exactly what I wanted (noise/performance). After three skimmers I broke down and paid for a new BBK... zero regrets!
