Will Zoa's sting mushrooms?

I have a spot that I would like to put some zoas but there are some mushrooms close. I think I know the answer, but I am hoping someone will tell me what I want to hear...

I have mushrooms growing all over my zoanthids. They dont seem to have an problems other then not getting enough light because they are close to being covered by mushrooms now.

Really? So when I read about coral and they are called semi-aggressive, does that mean it could just be how they grow and not necessarily that they sting?

mushrooms pack a decent sting.
zoanthids may pack a little sting, but their strategy seems to be to overwhelm.

I have mushrooms that I tried to get rid of still grow out and mixed with zoas. Doesn't seem to affect either one.

Yeah, I've seen similar.

I have seen mushrooms sting the heck out of Montipora, Acropora, and Xenia.

i wish my zoas would sting my mushrooms. i had to move the zoas because the shrooms were all over them.
