Zoa help

Hello,
Was hoping someone could help me with my zoanthid issue. A few weeks ago my magician zoas randomly all closed up. They stayed all close for over 2 weeks so I took the frag off my rock and dipped in some iodine. A few came back ok but the rest look like this. One of my other colonies is beginning to close up too and when closed appears to look more white. Anyone know what this could be? Had these zoas for over 6 months and they were thriving.

What are your parameters? Everyone is gonna ask…..your flow and lighting as well.

Chemiclean will get them to open. It’s probably bacterial infection

Any chance you could expand on the use of chemiclean in this instance for me? My magicians and other random zoas seem to go through phases at times. Thanks!

I think it’s to treat a possible bacterial infection. I don’t know if that’s what I’m experiencing but something definitely did some damage to my magicians and I haven’t changed lighting or flow. I’ve also read that zoas apparently can just close up randomly for weeks and open back up
