How to know when your RODI needs new filters

thanks

for some reason I thought is was more complicated than that...is there a special all plastic gauge or brass would be ok?

Avoid brass connections but a regular gauge should be fine. There is a rubber diaphragm that touches the water and transfers the pressure to a mechanical reading. So the inside metals don't come in contact with the water. I may be wrong but I think this is how most work.

Also brass in the water before the membrane would be ok. THe RO and DI resin would filter out any metal.

I don't see a reason to put a guage after the RO or DI resin as there should be no pressure in the waste line or the RO output.

JMO anyway
