But i'm still looking around for a kit like the EverClear Acrylic Buffer kit that was discontinued a few years ago because that thing got great reviews and hooked up to an orbital buffer which is what you'd need for a tank that large unless you wanna break a wrist or two.

Champion lighting has the everclear orbital kits. Got one last week.

That sounds about right...buy fish....cant find it...FREAK OUT....find it....whew! Glad it didnt die its a really cool fish, i thought the 10g tank was gonna be a form of fuge for the 29g...are you setting it up as a species only tank for the mandarin now?

For right now, yes. Eventually i'd like to put an inlet and outlet on it to run it as a fuge, but for the time being, having somewhere to put the mandarin and keep him safe and within sight and feed him properly is my top priority ya know? I'm thinking up a pretty sweet LED setup with fan cooling for it too.
