4o Breeder, what did you suggest for a Overflow-Kit
Was thinking CPR (crp) whatever it’s called haha But seems kind of old school. Or will that work well?
I've used CPR overflows in the past for years at a time, with very few problems. Quick way to add a sump to any tank. You just have to make sure the siphon will start again after a power outage. Also they sometimes trap air in the overflow and water flow is decreased. Just something you need to keep an eye on. I've since switched to all ReefReady tanks. If you can, that's the way to go.
Or you could drill the tank and go that route, I have no experience with that.
No. Just dotting my I‘s and crossing my T’s
40 Breeder. I built stand already, Sicce Return, Eshoops Rs-75 Sump, ReefBreeder V2+,
IceCap Gyre 3k, Hanna Checkers (3), Ehiem True Temp Heater, Bunch of other stuff but that’s the main things. Stand will be complete upon set up
I'm new to salt tanks, but in looking at overflows I came across the neat design that Fiji Cube offers. The skimmer is easily removed from the bulkhead fittings via O-rings for cleaning and seems like a great idea. Having just bought one of their sump kits for a 40B, I can assure you they make beautiful stuff.
The external overflow box is a popular overflow option for hobbyist to build their tanks into the next level. Fiji Cube’s external overflow box features a slim and safe design that offers another solution to perform your tank build. Features: Slim and compact design to suit any aquarium set-ups...

I'm actually using a Marine depot hang on, but will likely use one of Fiji's on my next tank. Also bought an ATO bracket and feeder ring from them, cheap and great quality!
