175W MH on a Frag Tank?

Frag section of a sump really...

Will a 175W halide inside a Lumenarc III be enough for a 30" x 20" x 12" frag section of my sump? I know it's a bit of a ways away, but he who fails to plan, plans to fail (so says my Nana ).

more than enough. I had a 175 on my frag and replaced it with a tek t-5 with great results, cheaper to run, too.

I've been thinking that. But since I've already got the reflector... Eh, maybe I'll sell that stuff.

If you use a iwasaki eye 15K it will be more than enough...(it has a par value like a 250)

I have a 175 over my 20 long......same depth and length just 8 inches narrower and it works prefect. I don't have a sweet reflector like that (only using a PFO reflector). So I would say it would be more then enough.
