Why not try devil's hand leather first,or a toad stool.Don't need to be on top of you calcium with those.Just make sure salinity,alk and temp are correct.

How is your tank temperature in this season ? Mine is very hot. Also how does your biocube protein skimmer perform ?

temp is always at 78.5 now that i have the Fluval Edge E200 heater. i have my AC on, on hot days or whenever i see my ank reach 80 ill put the Ac on


As for the skimer:
i removed it. right npw now running a skimmer. im having a skimmer/sump cutom built from lifereef.com and that will be dont mid-end july. that will go in the stock biocube stand and it will have a tuze 9002 skimmer in it.
